Nagpur Today : Nagpur News

‘I have never before seen such a huge crowd. I am seeing it for the first time,’ thundered Narendra Damodardas Modi at an election rally in Asansol, West Bengal.

‘Wherever I see from stage, I see only people in front of me. Kya kamaal kar diya aap logo ne,’ Modi, the Bharatiya Janata party’s lead campaigner for Bengal’s assembly election, declared..

Modi’s remarks came under severe scrutiny on social media and in the international media as many felt that it was not right for the prime minister of India to brag about the swelling crowds at his rallies amid the surging COVID-19 crisis.

The crowd turnout was so large that many felt that the Modi magic would vanquish Mamata Banerjee and her All India Trinamool Congress.

The voters of Asansol Uttar, where Modi boasted about the huge crowds, voted for the TMC candidate.

BJP candidate Krishnendu Mukherjee lost to the TMC’s Ghatak Moloy by 21,110 votes.

The only consolation prize that Modi’s rally served was the BJP won Asansol Dakshin with Agnimitra Paul defeating Sayani Ghosh of TMC by 4,487 votes.

On April 3, Modi went to Tarakeshwar to address a rally for Swapan Dasgupta who days earlier had resigned from the Rajya Sabha to contest the Bengal assembly election.

Dasgupta — who was mentioned as a likely chief minister if the BJP won Bengal — was confident about his election victory.

TMC nominee Ramendu Sinharay defeated Dasgupta in Tarakeshwar by 7,484 votes.

In Howrah had Modi spoken about double engine growth at his rally.

‘I request all young sons and daughters to help spread the word of ‘asol poriborton’ (real change) to their families and neighbours,’ Modi said.

The result? All three seats — Howrah Uttar, Howrah Madhya and Howrah Dakshin — went to the TMC.

TMC won Howrah Dakshin by 50,569 votes; Howrah Madhya by 46,547 votes; Howrah Uttar by 5,522 votes.

Check out the strike rate of Modi’s rallies.

Of the 33 seats where Modi campaigned, the BJP could win only 15 seats. Modi could not help even half the number of candidates for whom he campaigned in his aggressive ‘Didi-o-Didi’ style.

And if you add Birbhum district where Modi addressed just one rally, and in which an additional 11 assembly seats fall, the BJP won a lonely seat, Dubrajpur (SC).

And, in the six assembly constituencies of Bankura, Cooch Behar (Dakshin), Kalyani, Asansol (Dakshin), Gangarampur and Murshidabad, where Modi addressed rallies, the BJP candidates won by less than 5,000 votes.

Nagpur Today : Nagpur News

Nagpur: Acting upon the series of complaints against a slew of hospitals heavily charging patients in the name of Covid treatment, Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Additional Commissioner Jalaj Sharma has issued notices to 13 hospitals including Seven Star Hospital, Kingsway Hospital, Wockhardt, Viveka Hospital, Arneja Hospital among others.

The complaints of excessive billings have reached to city’s former Mayor and senior BJP leader Sandip Joshi who has launched a crusade against such erring hospitals in order to relieve the people already reeling under financial burden. On Tuesday, Joshi had met Additional Commissioner Jalaj Sharma at the latter’s office and demanded action against these hospitals while handing over the complaints he received from various sections of people. Joshi had also warned of agitation if no action would be taken in the concerned matter.

When Nagpur Today contacted NMC Additional Commissioner Jalaj Sharma, his office informed that notices were served to as many as 13 hospitals after Sandip Joshi met him and raised the issue.

“We have sought bill and treatment details from the erring hospitals while our auditor is also working on the same. We will seek strict action against the hospitals found involved in the malpractices, and levy fine on them,” Sharma told Nagpur Today.

It is learnt that one of these hospitals have been accused of charging as much as 3.5 lakhs just for a week’s treatment without ICU, ventilator or Remdesivir.

“We were not even informed about the cost and were made to sign a document just a day before discharge under the assurance that our bill would not exceed Rs 75,000. I was told that our deposit amount of Rs 50000 was covered and the extra expense of two days would be charged. But on the seventh day when my wife was discharged we were handed over the bill of Rs 3.5 lakh. We were also threatened that if we would not pay the bill the charge would keep on increasing multifold. We have been cheated as my wife was admitted in a non-ICU room without ventilator support. Oxygen support was also given just for a day. We were misguided and cheated and we look forward to get our money back which we had arranged after taking loan from others,” said Rajendra Shivhare, one of the patients’ kin who were forced to bear the multifold cost.

As per the information received from NMC, the list of hospitals who have been issued notices include,

1. Kingsway Hospital, near Kasturchand Park

2. Wockhardt Hospital, Shankar Nagar and Gandhi Nagar

3. Seven Star Hospital, Jagnade Square, Nandanvan

4. Viveka Hospital, Parsodi, Subhash Nagar

5. Sushrut Hospital, Ramdaspeth

6. Ayushman Hospital, Ramdaspeth

7. Arneja Hospital, Ramdaspeth

8. VIMS Hospital, Kamptee road

9. Hope Hospital, Kamptee road

10.Safe Hands Hospital, Lakadganj

11. Radiance Hospital, Central Avenue, Chhapru Nagar, Ambedkar Square

Voices within BJP and RSS ranks speculating on the need for the government to “revamp its team”

This is an Article published by the Indianexpress Written by Ravish Tiwari title “Fear in each family: Government on the defensive, anxiety deepens within BJP and RSS ranks”, below is the full article

Representational Pic

For the first time since the Modi Government came to power in 2014, senior Union ministers and top functionaries in the BJP and the RSS are on the defensive and unsure of how — or even what — to communicate to the people as the second Covid curve rages across the country.

Yet, there is a consensus that “fear has touched each family” and people need to see more “effort and achievement” to feel some “reassurance”. To that effect, there are also voices in the party and the RSS speculating on the need for the government to “revamp its team” so that it can deliver.

A fortnight after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation, the Centre’s response trails way behind the curve, which shows few signs of a let-up. On the most pressing issue of oxygen, a series of High Courts and, the Supreme Court, too, have turned the screws on the Centre.

The Sunday Express spoke to some Union ministers and several functionaries in the BJP and the RSS to get a sense of how the national anxiety is echoing in the corridors of power.

The most common refrain is that this was “sudden” and “unexpected.” When told that the uptick began in Mumbai mid-February and all warning signs — from need of oxygen to the possible impact of the variant — came early and the Government had time to prepare, the chorus is that “no one anticipated such an intense wave.”

Few are willing to discuss how the Centre misread the situation and the BJP passed a resolution praising the Prime Minister for success in the fight against Covid. Indeed, most of them are still hesitant to find fault with the leadership and rally behind the Prime Minister’s not-so visible efforts to manage the situation.

Asked about the conspicuous silence at the top as compared to daily and regular press briefings by some Chief Ministers, a Union Minister said: “I am with you on the the need for a voice of reassurance (from the government). The entire situation is challenging”.

“This wave has taken all of us by surprise,” said another Union Minister. “All of a sudden, the case count went through the roof,” said a third Minister admitting, that today, “there’s a fear in almost every family across the country.”

“Kai bar unapekshit cheezein ho jati hain. In these situations, every plan falls short,” said a fourth Minister. “Thoda hatasha ka bhaav hai….thodi dhilayi hui….lekin janta ne bhi dhilai ki; they didn’t pay heed to persistent appeals to mask and maintain social distancing after the first wave,” he said.

However, he added there was an “organised attempt to defame the Central government,” by the same “suspects who attack us on every policy.”

Said a top official: “Last year, they said the lockdown was the worst thing to have happened and now they say you need to lock down. They said put vaccines in the open market, give it to the private sector, now they say vaccines should be free.”

However, another Minister suggested that more effort was needed by the government to take the public into confidence. “There will always be people against us but there are fair-minded people as well. Fear and loss of a loved one can anger anybody, this isn’t the time to see all criticism as motivated. The people need to be taken into confidence,” he said.

But a senior Minister said that daily communication with the public – at a senior political level – may not be that effective. “Bolne se chidh machegi public mein abhi. Logon ko result chahiye, bhashan nahi (Speeches will anger people; they want results, not a lecture),” said the minister.

The Ministers may be guarded but some leaders in the BJP and RSS are more forthcoming.

“The Government is making efforts but is falling short in articulating a convincing political message,” said a BJP national office-bearer adding, “The government might need to revamp its team to deliver results”.

The BJP functionary, however, evaded queries on where does the buck stop. A senior RSS leader blamed “centralised decision-making” for not anticipating and now scrambling to catch up with the second wave. “There is over-centralisation in the PMO and a deep problem in the quality of feedback the PM gets. The Principal Scientific Advisor admits he couldn’t see the second wave and then says a third wave will come.”

The question of accountability is also being raised. “Is there any accountability mechanism for people surrounding the leadership…I suspect there is a tendency to please Number One (Prime Minister), so no is flagging negative situations to him on time,” said the RSS leader.

The defeat in West Bengal has also rubbed this in. “Clearly, no one, between April 4 and 15 when the curve exploded, sensed that the Covid curve was rising so steeply and rallies in Bengal was not the answer. We misread both the political mood in the state and the public health challenge.”

A BJP Chief Minister, however, said that the central leadership is working hard to “salvage” the situation. “The PM warned CMs in mid-March, this is an unexpected situation and we are working hard. Whenever I have made a call or wanted to speak to the Prime Minister, Defence Minister, Home Minister, Railway Minister, the response has been prompt,” said the CM.

Asked about people’s resentment at the sense of helplessness, a Union Minister said: “People understand that oxygen and vaccines cannot be arranged overnight in these dire situations.”

“During the UPA, people were angry at CWG, 2G and coal scams. The situation is not like that, people know the situation seems uncontrolled for the moment but they also understand the limitations in times of such surge. They trust the Prime Minister to bring the situation under control,” said a Union Minister.

But with cities still reeling and the wave spreading to rural areas, that trust will be further challenged. The summer of 2021 remains long and harsh.

Should Gadkari be The Commander for Combating Covid ?

Nagpur Today : Nagpur News

The Corona Pandemic has  taken the demon and disastrous shape  , enacting like the most horrifying  nightmare in history of mankind. The fear and phobia  of the vindictive virus is  making things move from bad to worse for the common mass.  The sharp rise in Death Toll , Scarcity of Medical aid  and Oxygen has added to the grim & gloom shade of  Pandemic. Though ,the entire world is combating with Covid  since end 0f 2019 ,  Few Nations like Israel , New Zealand & others could effectively manage to get rid of virus through its result bound program , while many  others and most of the nations are still struggling & strangling against the virus. With second largest population in the world , India has altogether elevated level of challenges , complexities& crisis.

The present Praxis of Pandemic in India  seems to be at its apex , where life has became the cheapest commodity and life saving measures the costliest one.  The Queues are getting extended from  Isolation Centres to Hospitals to Graveyard. Inspite of all efforts by the Government  , it appears to be Helpless & Hopeless  on many fronts. The great gap of Governance between  ‘Intention & Implementation’  has gone far & wide , making present situation miserable & pathetic.

WHAT  WENT WRONG  ?

World Health Organization gave the alarm  against CORONA in early 2020 only , which was perhaps taken for granted by Indian  Government . The neighbouring Chinese Virus  will be within its boundary and.not be vindictive was another hail notion ! . The Administration was too cosy & lazy in action & reactions. Engaged with political campaigns , meetings , rallies , along with great ‘Kem Cho Trump!’  welcome event , amidst all pandemic praxis , it took authorities too long to wake up and understand the severity of the situation. By  that time the Vindictive Virus had already penetrated our Boundaries  spreading itself far & wide.

Next , came the negligence and ignorance of facts & measures by the authorities. ‘Getting trained by the untrained people’.  became the scenario and  for those pandemic , epidemic , endemic are alien words were made Avengers to combat corona. Though , specialised Institute like Centre for Disease Control  , Pune was there  , it was not taken into account  ,instead the ICMR , which primarily  performs research were made the nucleus of the empowered group , which has performed all trials & errors with its chaotic cluster of Biomedical professionals , Cardiologist , Paediatric etc.  but , without taking the cognizance of epidemiologist. The irony is that  majority of  the worlds most leading & Eminent Epidemiologist  are Indian. The Centre for Disease Control , Pune was   bypassedby Central Authoritygiving  ICMR ,   the fundamental role in Pandemic Management  not because it has Right Representatives  , but Might  Representatives ?.  Its just like  visiting to Vet in case of Cardiac Arrest ,  because he is near and dear to you. This signifies clear sign of intellectual impotence & incompetency to combat Corona pandemic. The series of lockdown followed by vicious circle of  rules, regulations , restrictions along with faith flaunting  motivational  exercises from mass Sound to Light show  ( pun intended).  The Popular blind  practice of following the preaching of  western model  without realizing its significance, suitability and sustainability in the eastern environment  , was religiously followed , without making serious efforts for Research & Analysis of Problems & Solutions in Indian praxis. Passing the ball , without hitting the Goal was the exercise followed. This all unproductive futile  exercises in nothing but the clear reflection of lack of vision and farsightedness  in Apex Leadership. Even after the launch of Vaccines , the dilemma & disaster of delivery was demonstrated in every domain. In special circumstances few errors could be understood  , but series of negligence & careless administration is not only crime but sin in corona crisis.

Special Situation demands -Specialist Commands ,  and that evolves through Realizing , rectifying & Resolving problems . Different module of leadership suggest vivid traits & pattern of leadership conducive in certain circumstances. For instance  , Sir Winston Churchill , who exceptionally commanded and made England & its allies victorious in 2nd world war against Adolf Hitler ,  lost the`election following year to the Labour Party &  Atlee became the Prime Minister. As Citizens  of the England were of the opinion that Churchill was good choice as Prime minister in times of war  , but not for time of peace. This electoral maturity and  understanding is still not confined and carried by Indian voters. The crux is that;   Narendra Modi &  Amit Shah duo must be great in turning the  table , winning the elections , media representation , power presentation and  Image management. But , they  seems to lost the grip & control on pandemic roller coaster.  The  present situation demands Analytical actions & Rejuvenating reactions. It is the time for the “ Well Done” leadership model rather than “ Well said” &  ‘Well thought’ . Needless to mention , among the limited list of legendary leaders .  Nitin Gadkari emerges as the most obvious choice in  Combating corona with care & courage. Nitin Gadkaris experience  and expertise in crisis management is well tried and tested. In spite of Being  in opposition  for long time  , he exercised  harmonious relations with all party Leaders and workers. He enacted as bridge  builder in may hostile situation for the party. Groomed and trained under the first hand leadership of Jan sangh &  RSS  he has great nexus& Network of vibrant volunteers from vivid fields. Gadkari has been carrying the tradition of . Son Of  Soil , who Toils for Motherland’ image. He crafted his ladder of success with Discipline , determination & Dedication and climbed one step at a time , unlike Narendra Modi who got elevator or perhaps parachute landing on top by grace and gravity keeping aside all the stalwarts leaders  of BJP  . This makes  him more practical player than the theoretical  one.

Gadkari Nama –

Nitin Gadkari has proved his mettle in all roles & responsibilities  he is designated with He  is well known for his result oriented delivery of work before deadlines . As PWD Minister of Maharashtra , Gadkari played a crucial role in expediting the construction of Mumbai – Pune expressway , India first six lane concrete high speed express highway , along with 55 flyovers in Mumbai , which eased the city traffic problems significantly. Gadkari strongly supported privatisation  , while he campaigned for investment in infrastructure from private firms , resulting  in all weather road rural connectivity , which remained unconnected since Independence by road. It also helped ameliorate malnutrition  in remote Melghat- Dharni areas of Amravati district and many others , which previously had no access to medical aid , ration and educational facilities. Gadkari has magnified his vision from state to National level after resuming as the Minister of  Road Transport& Highways , Minister of Shipping  & Minister of MSME. He increased the pace of road creation from 2km / day to 16.5 km / day in first year an 21km/day in the second year and took it to record breaking target of 36 km/ day  with his meticulous planning and execution. He reserved an amount of one percent of the total projects awarded in his tenure worth Rupees 2 trillion ( USD 28 Billion) for trees and beautification. This work profile is replica of the Herculean task  executed in the most neglected ministry in Titanic manner. It will not be exaggeration to say that Gadkari’s  Ministry enjoy the pleasure of serving the tangible & visible results rather than proposed paper projects.

Chief  Epidemic Officer ( C.E.O )

What Nation needs and wish to experience and explore is the same result bound program and performance by the governance. As the government came with idea and appointment of  Chief of Defence Staff  a bridge between President  & all Commanders of all forces . In same manner Nitin Gadkari can be designated as C.E.O ( Chief Epidemic Officer ) empowering him with  Special power of attorney to exercise and execute effective epidemic management  program. His Administrative skills and Business acumen are exceptionally brilliant . To get the things done and set the ball rolling  is  difficult  in Bureaucratic practices. The  Anchor which could harbour all the officials & executives on one port is undoubtedly , Gadkari. As  he hails from Central India Nagpur , which serves as the Headquarter of RSS , of  which he is  close aide & loyalist , will also help him in fostering & felicitating decision process. Recently , his  strategic management for Oxygen generation &  supply by seeking  cooperation from various public- private sources and industries is praise worthy. The allocation of  the right task to the right man  in right manner is the  key to success , & Gadkari excels in that !. The reflection of which  is seen in procurement & logistic management Of Oxygen tankers carried by Pyare Khan , the entrepreneur from Nagpur , under the able guidance of  him. Keeping  aside political prejudices and polarising  practices . Nitin Gadkari demonstrated the  dignified call of duty , with One Nation – One Mission.  Raising above the regional and Political agenda , he tried to reach and serve the needy  beyond constitutional boundaries. To counter the shortage of Remedisivir Injection , he promptly made arrangements for its production from Wardha unit.  And controlled the black marketing of other essential commodities and medical aid to the large extent.

Nitin Gadkari’s basic trait is that of Solution seeking in innovative manner rather than   problem pampering & prolonging .  He may not be exemplary in elocution ,but he is an articulate communicator , who speaks facts & figures. Bold , loud and clear with his expression and examples , He speaks his mind innocently ,which many times had put him in trouble too , like in 2014 just before the Maharashtra assembly election commission issued  show cause and put section 171B read with Section 171E of the IPC against his provoking speech. In august 2019 also Gadkari created controversay when he stated that he had advised the Union Finance Minister to , “ throw Out’ the RBI governor because the latter was inflexible and adamant. His satirical comments and critical appreciation also falls in the same category , but maintains balance and sanity. Gadkaris recent address to the party officials and workers in carrying out selfless service whole heartedly , without any  discrimination and differences, he  advised them not to make media hype and poor show of welfare projects executed , practical performance rather than photo presentation  should be imbibed. He  guided optimistically on vivid  motivating and development aspects of Individual & Institutions.

His straightforward  and strict stance may not be applauded by many , but appreciated and admired by all.  Even when Gadkari was appointed as president of BJP 2009- 2013 , which was considered as a tough phase for the BJP as the part has lost two consecutive Loksabha elections and needed a quick revamp.

As Party president , right from the start, Gadkari made his agenda very clear. He focused almost entirely on the ‘ politics of development.’ In his Book India Aspires, co- authored with Tuhin Sinha, Gadkari spells out his development ideas for the country in great detail.  Increased institutional support to green energy, alternate fuel and effective waste management hold special importance in Gadkari’s development plan. At a time when the country was plagued with the problem of policy paralysis under the UPA, Gadkari’s proactive approach towards development, set a new and positive agenda for the country’s politics. Gadkari, re-emphasized on legendary Jan Sangh leader Deen Dayal Upadhya’s principles of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya (upliftment of the poor). At the same time, various cells were constituted within the party to regularly monitor the develop work undertaken by various BJP state governments and to come up with new policy inputs.Gadkari resigned as party president in January 2013 due to allegations  made for irregularities  in his Purti  Group of Business. By that time , he had laid the strong  Foundation and winning platform for BJP  for  the forthcoming  election with his vibrant vision.

Why only Gadkari ?

The pivotal question email that ; Why only Gadkari ? The answer lies with in the question itself that special mission requires super Snipers & Commando than regular security. They should be empowered with  priveledged power to take tough calls and license to kill. As we had seen in the past also , in extreme  conditions  Officers on special duties are appointed. May it be KPS Gill  as DGP of Punjab for controlling Punjab insurgency ,  Metro Man E. Sreedharan ,  Missile Man A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and many other esteem contributors.

This war against Corona also needs Calculative Commander , who can sail the ship to the shore through the the storm with his courage and confidence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi  is good in political practices and policy presentation. He was Pracharak ( Propogator ) of RSS and placed to the  peak position of C.M & P.M respectively . the  crux & crunch of administration , hazard & disaster management are  part of  his skipped syllabus. In short he is the guy from Sales team and not  from Service  division.  He excels as Marketing Guru , but what India needs now is service engineer  & Social Entrepreneur with expertise . All road leads to Nagpur  to be new Healing Headquarter against Pandemic ,not only Geographically but politically also. The kith & Kin of Gadkari and those who know him very well , aware about his innovative temperament &  fighting spirit. Well versed with the Risk  calculations  & Project Management , his Numerical Vocabulary is more than prose.  Few  Experts even makes Hypothetical Myth , that , Gadkari    with his Co-Operation & Coalition  Engineering can even  Involve Manmohan Singh , Sharad Pawar , Subramanyam Swamy & Amaertya Sen for Finance & Policy Making ,  Prashant Kishor  & Shashi Tharoor for International Relation &  Diplomatic Services , also engaging many extraordinary executives & Legeslative  irrespective of party and post could also form part of his team , If needed.  Talent accumulation and allocation is most admired part of his Leadership Skill , where he empower others with faith & trust.india ha no dearth of Intelligent & Committed experts In every sector , there efficiency need to be  channelize  & Utilize to the best of their potential in positive manner for the welfare of Mankind. The Combat with Corona is not going to  end with complete vaccination or practicing prevention. Post – Covid Trauma and Management will be Gigantic task . The Recovery & Rehabilitation exercise will be more elborative and exhausting . Also, there need to be dedicated wing for future challenges  pertaining to Bio- war situation. Nitin Gadkari with his magnified vision and futuristic approach can be the best man for jeopardized Job and be Jubilant,  proving truly  that;. ‘ A leader is A Dealer of Hope’.

Nagpur Today : Nagpur News

The Corona Pandemic has bewildered & Baffled the mankind in all aspects. The world  appears to be paused & punished by the vindictive Virus. The Combat against Covid is been going on all fronts with sincere support & Efforts By Frontline Warriors. May it be Scientists , Police , Doctors , Public Administration , Sanitary Workers etc. all devoted and dedicated their specialized services  rigorously. In this Ambush with Anonymous , Many have  lost their lives  too, rising above the Call of their duty. We have  witnessed the great struggle administration and Police in maintaining law & order , along with Lockdown & other policy implementation. But , the worst Hit were Medical  Professionals , who were in the first row , as The Guard & Guardian against Corona. Without specified & Specialized weapon  , Medicos  Brave heartedly jumped into the life and death situation , without giving second thought or demanding special privilege & package. The miserable sight & plight of patients suffering and death toll was controlled and compassionated by enduring efforts of Medicos & Scientist. From  deploying  the Effective line of treatment to development of  Vaccines , it has been a long journey travelled in a short while with tireless contribution from Medical fraternity. But , when The entire  Human race has been terrified & horrified  by the worst Nightmare of Bio- Hazard , there were few self centered Individuals & Institutions  , who were looking this Pandemic as an opportunity to explore , Exploit and Encash Profitability. With multiple business model  without ethical values and moral practices , they ashamed Humanity with Heinous crime of capitalizing & Controlling rescue resources.

Doctors Dilemma –

The Niche & Noble Profession of Doctor has always been blend of challenging &  catastrophic  circumstances. In highly populated third world nation like India  , the Path to Become A Doctor is no lesser than treasure hunt ,engulfed with enormous adventures & Hardship. From preparing for tough  Entrances to Qualifying for few limited seats in  Mutli -Dimensional , multilevel , multi-reserved educational system. The exorbitant fees & exhaustive academic schedule  for  prolong time makes it not only one of the costliest but also longest duration course . The Medical aspirants need to keep their Morale High and spirits awake throughout their Journey ,  The professional practice in the real world is  even more roller coaster ride for Medicos. The struggle to start the practice , make it stable , Extend and Expertise it in present praxis is equally Herculean. The extensive study & settlement period, further delays family life too .   Facing all the fear factors and overcoming challenges with continuous  Update & Upgrade  of Know -How , the Doctor has to be  student for life time. The cost of Bio- Medical  Technology and  Equipments  is equally high , followed by bunch of rules & regulations of council and civic bodies. Practically, Every Medico is under sub-conscious stress and Anxiety in some way or the other. They are more vulnerable to infections ,Diseases  and  ailments  along with extreme work pressure of delivering positive results. All other professions might demand same level of Dedication, Determination and Discipline  , But the biggest difference is that Medicos directly deal with Human Life and  any error may result fatal loss. Hence , A Doctor always need to be Cool , Calm and demonstrate his control over mind and senses every moment. Practically , Every cured patient adds life to Doctors Bliss & Bless. Regular routine flooded with Emergencies , Calls , follow ups, Case Study &  Research  makes Medicos more  prone to Hypertension impacting  their quality & quantity of life both.  The Inspiration of work life balance in Medicos Life comes from the belief they practice  that ; ‘ A Hand which serves is more Holy than the lips which prays.’ The irony in most of the medicos life is that ; ‘ They can’t have their meals  when there are MANY patients  and also  without ANY patient (pun intended ).  The affluence and well to do  of the Medicos comes after sacrificing lot of self peace & wellness. The liability of Roles and Responsibilities are more than Asset of Rights to Medicos  . DX

Unfortunately , The People who don’t raise their voice  and register concern against corrupt Politicians , Arrogant  Government Officials ,  Adamant  Contractors & Influential Industrialist are promptly prejudiced with claim & blame for Doctors.  Medicos are merely considered as privilege perk and treated as Soft targets  by few upstart & pseudo workers in modern praxis. The earlier image of Medicos as Almighty’s shadow & Angel   has been destroyed  & Degraded by few false fellows. Its really matter of great concern that in  rare case of unpleasant result or event .  patients and their associates attack Doctors , abuse them , damage their properties , threatening their life & Family. It molest their Morale and discourage them from delivering divine duties. Even , few Medicos takes extreme decision of not practicing medicine and not allowing Their next generation to follow the suit. This Talent Killing & Skill Spoiling works as a slow & silent poison for countries Health care . If  timely measures are not taken  continues , the day will come that Medical profession will loose its charisma and their will be great scarcity of devoted medicos. Human Body is an Enigma , which is extensive, Doctors are just enthusiastic explorers of wellness. They are Healers not Killers.

WHY THIS BABAGIRI JI? –

Recently , Chief  Patron of Patanjali  Group ,  Baba Ramdev   made controversial remark against the reliability of  Allopathy practioners and the efficiency of treatment in covid condition. The derogatory & defaming remark went to the level of challenging medicos questioning their Investigation , Intention & Integrity. This was not appreciated  , accepted & admired by Medicos & many others sensible citizens too,. Though , Baba Ramdev  is well versed with comment   & controversy.  May it be sharp escape from Jantar Mantar protest to making claim for magic & miracle Drug to cure , cancer , HIV , AIDS etc & even Corona  now. Baba Ramdev has turn &  twisted his tongue with rollback statements on many occasions for his controversial claims .  From eminent  YogGuru  to  enduring Entrepreneur ,  He has explored & expanded his Patanjali  group in short duration of time with great business acumen . Along with his close aide  Acaharya Balkrishna  ,he launched wide range of Pharma products and ventured Multi programs & projects. Practically , Baba Ramdev is playing on Golden Triangle  of , ‘Roti . Kapda Aur Dukaan’{ ( Paushtik ( Food ) , Paridhan ( Fashion) & Patanjali (Pharmaceuticals ) }. Social Savvy & Media Darling  Baba Ramdev  excels in exploring & exploiting  resources, His master craftsmanship  in presenting & promoting Yoga  to class & mass has benefited many  and rebuked the health awareness & wellness concern. Above  all he smartly succeeded to  encash his popularity in building his brand image and narrative about himself as ‘ Culture Commando’ & ‘Swadeshi. Synonym . In emotionally engulfed and Culturally concious  Demography like India , The creating & celebrating Idol is an  inevitable trait. Most of the Public figures enjoy this extra edge  exercise , assuming  them to be Sole & Supreme. This Narcissistic  misconception leads them to irresponsible and irrelevant behavaiour.   Baba Ramdev too got hallucinated by misinterpreting peoples faith & belief on Culture & Tradition  as His dominance & Fathom. He Solicited & argued on all the subjects & aspects without being authorized to do it. To quench his thirst for being in Highlight & Limelight , he followed the path  to be the Czar of Controversy. With rising Socio-political  & Economical  power  , Baba became Brake-less  Bicycle , Until  he met Medicos Mishap.

The Attitude achieved by meditation turned into arrogance with mudslinging on medication By YogGuru Ramdev. In an attempt to turn threat of corona into opportunity for his Coronil kitty , he went far ahead by ‘Questioning Those, who are Answers’. it Demoralized the sincere soldiers combating corona , making them feel insecure & insulted. Swami  Ramdev assumed that his Babagiri will not be challenged and he will emerged as  an enlightening entrepreneur & Philosopher of Pharmacy . But , ravishing reflex by Medico community made him to move on back foot, chew his Claims & swallow his Blames. But, Baba continues to argue in confession box too  and still not finding himself guilty of poisonous propaganda . Soliciting his satirical  Statement , he rebounds Medicos with series of absurd Questionnaire resulting in futile exercise of confusing others and concluding himself.  He could neither sympathize nor empathize with Covid  Warriors. He could ridicule and rage Medicos due to Impotent Intelligence and Corrupt Culture of few Power Patrons. To start even a small venture in our Country is Herculean task  flooded with multiple speed breakers of Rules , Regulations, laws & challenges of uncertainties . But, few bountifully blessed like Baba Ramdev gets Red carpet  Cake walk to the desired destination may it be establishing Industry or University or Chain of Malls & Stores at all premium places in peanut prices.  This pampering perks have made them callous to comment on Medicos as ‘ Placebo Practitioners’.  its matter of great disgrace that many propagated & Promoted Personae  like him considers themselves apex  authority  on all Eco-socio , Political & scientific issues without paying any heed to  experts and taking them  for granted . its not only heinous legal crime but also sin , ethically incorrect to mislead  , misguide  the mass. Perhaps ,it should be considered as equivalent  to Naxalism & Terrorism provoking propagation program , which spreads rumour and rage against their own system. This paltry practices paralyse the prime priority of the nation. In democracy Freedom of speech & right to express should be exercised with great responsibility & rationality . its tool to BUILD the bridge of Communication, Care & Concern  not BURN it.  Unfortunately . Human Beings  excels & enjoy more in Discovering Bad use of Good Inventions

Recently , Baba Ramdev after enormous embarrassment  admitted that he will be taking Covid Vaccine and  he has complete faith on doctors & Modern Medicine . Adding ‘ If & But’ he extended that he was pointing on Medical  / Pharma Mafia not Doctors. His rebound and re framed  damage control statement holds least value with futile effort, ‘To lock  the stable , after stallion is stolen’. Hope the Antibodies will cure his Anti- Feelings for Doctors  too and enhance not only his Immunity but also sanity & Humanity  .

Behind the Curtain – Beneath the Stage –

The problem lies much deep within , in biased comparison & corrupt  competition between vivid path of medical streams. The Simple  crux that ; ‘All Roads lead to Rome’   is not understood by mass &   many Medicine practitioners ,  making it a tug of war  situation. The Social Status  &  Salary Scale followed by mass psychology  giving partial treatment including respect & revenue  sows the seed of – inferiority- superiority complex.  Many  Pampered  Practitioners of modern Medicines show disregard &  disbelief for other alternative medicines. This Hymn of  Humiliation hounds the Humbleness  and makes a sharp divide of heinous Ours Versus Yours instead of harmonious Ours with Yours.  The Pharmaceutical Industry plays the pivotal role in running & rolling Medical Business. They Flood prospective promoters with Honey , Money & Funny Gifts & Greetings. From Institutional Conference  To Individual Cruise sponsorship,  To catch more market share and boost volume , Pharma Syndicate  practices all power principles. In era of cut throat competition & cost, Medicos finds cash & connection more practical then ethical. The flamboyant flourishing  of Doctors turns into Neighbour Envy , Owners pride situation. Hence they fail to admire & appreciate their close Cousins of Medicine  raising   the chaotic conflict of class among caretakers , which is not devoid of Jealousy, hatred , fear , Anger & Ego. Adding fuel to this fire , many  opportunistic entrepreneur  follows the age old formula of , ‘ Divide & Rule’ , making it more worst by colouring it with conflict between East & West , Culture Tradition & Modernization. Highly Inflammable Instincts immediately catches fire without understanding and turns assets into ashes in no time.  Baba Ramdevs narrative also falls in the same line of action. In an attempt to expand his territory of  Pharmaceuticals , he followed allegation instead of appreciation. He failed  to encash his culture card  by creating the illusion  of Ayurveda Vs  Allopathy conflict  and sabotage system due to  uniform rigid reflex from medicos.  His dictation was not taken for prescription in good health of the nation.

The egocentric education system  is equally responsible in  creating the Class Conflict in medical field . As it has conventionally neglected and subdued allied Medical Streams like Ayurveda , Unani , Homeopathy, Siddha etc. Though , Ayurveda- ancient of all medical sciences with history of pioneering Surgery  and conservative procedures  maintaining Life & Nature Balance is Heritage  treasure of India. Sushrut who pioneered Surgery & Many eminent  Holistic Healer like Sushen is treated as myth. But , Unfortunately other streams  of Medical practices are  not nurtured and nourished to its complete potential in British Raj and even in post independence era . The impact of British Education priority and principles were highly reflected in education system ,it is given secondary option and leftover loaf   treatment in medical education and practices. Instead of making conscience choice of faith,  it has turned into class choice of fashion. The cut off marks required for Modern Medicine is higher than other streams  , which follows next and creates a sense of inferiority in its seekers. Also , the pedagogy of medical science has not matured to  Andragogy with no open  thought for Heutagogy. Its stubborn syllabus confines to ‘ Frame Feeding & Boundary Bracketing’.

The Interdisciplinary approach and appreciation is still  alienated , with degrees are decorated in rhymes viz- MBBS . BAMS ,BHMS. BUMS etc.  But absurdly,  only Allopaths  could practice surgery and others are neither trained  nor taught practically about it. In highly populated nation like  India with dearth of trained Doctors , there need to be revision , revaluation and  restructuring of Medical Education system making it more  impartial & practical , with more rights and respect for all streams. The Ministry of AYUSH is established to execute the same Vision & Mission , but it  needs to expand & explore its exercise beyond scholarship &  Silent Support.  The Cantankerous propaganda against non allopathic system , heaping abuses on the approach should be controlled .  In Harmony ,The co-operative , Coordinated approach to wellness in coexistence is need of an hour , when health has assumed an altogether different hue in the shadow of covid pandemic.  A Joint Operation  of all  Medical practices with dignity  ‘To all- By all’ principle against corona will demonstrate better result with bigger workforce. The Doctors can neither be dictated nor dominated by any Demon , They are Motivated ,Mentored, Bestowed & Bounded by the Hippocratic Oath they pray & practice without Hypocrisy.

Nagpur Today : Nagpur News

Will Ordnance Factory at Ambazari be on the chopper’s block soon!

The Ordnance Factory at Nagpur was mooted in 1962 and set up 1964 onwards making it over 58 years old. It not only makes hardware for ammunition ( like the Bofors shells) but comprises of Training activity also. One of the 41 Ordnance factories of India, it is ( was?) one of the largest employing over 10,000 workers just few years ago.

Today, its strength is do
wn to 3000, exactly 1/3rd.

In 2016 – 2017 it had work orders of Rs 1200 crores. Today its orders have dwindled to Rs 360/ crores only whereas it has a capacity to manufacture material worth Rs 1000 crore minimum.

Complains Sudarshan Meshram, a JCM 4 ( Co coordinator between workers and Management) ” even to fulfill this meager order, we are not being given required raw material or tools. They want us to fail in meeting this target also so this work will also be snatched away from us.” A case of calling the dog mad before shooting it?

BUT WHY ‘KILL’ A VALUABLE GOVERNMENT ASSET WHICH IS ALSO KEY TO NATION’S DEFENSE?

To benefit ” friends” in the private sector of course!

Steps have already been taken in this direction. The Apex body overseeing the 41 Ordanance factories of India and training centers too has already been dissolved by the Parliament Friday, 18th June 2021. The Notification will come shortly.

This was done over the protests of the 3 Trade Unions that represent 80,000 workers. One association BPMS even has RSS backing. A fourth union, yet to be recognized called AIBDEF ( All India Bahujan Defense Employees Union) is also ready to fight tooth and nail against it.

The unions, guessing government’s intentions were ready to go a national strike last year only but the Chief Labour Commissioner CLC asked for a year’s time to do mediate.

In 2nd week of June the CLC declared that their efforts had failed and immediate action of dissolving the Ordnance Factory Board based in Kolkatta was dissolved.

” Its a policy decision of the government ” was the curt reason given for failure of negotiations

THE ORDNANCE FACTORY BOARD WAS IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO BE CONSIDERED THE 4th Wing of the Army.

Ironically, the beginnings of this board were set up by the British rulers; in fact the East India Company which realized the importance of having arms and ammunition manufactured in the Indian subcontinent. The precursor to the Board was set up in 1775 itself. This makes the Ordnance industries of India even 100 years older than Indian Railways or other vital sectors set up by the British.

Of the 41 Ordnance factories, many were set up by British. The OFB in its official website proudly claims to be the Force behind the Army, Navy & Airforce.

CORPOROTIZATION WAS THE NEED IF THE DAY?

Many Committees over the years had suggested restructuring. Now officially 7 PSUs will be set up and the 41 O factories divided between them. For better functioning, ostensibly.

BUT THE TRADE UNIONS FEAR THAT PRIVATIZATION IS THE REAL OBJECTIVE

Is this fear unjustified?

Look at what has happened to the manufacture of the PINACA MISSILE designed by arby’s own R&D and which was to be partly manufactured by Ambazari O. F?

A bulk of the order, along with technology and know how has already gone to Private sector industry Solar Industries based in Bazargaon, near Nagpur.

Say office bearers of various trade unions that ‘ for the first time an entire missile will be manufactured and assembled under one roof, that too by a Private company!

” We had struct protocol that no factory handled the whole ‘product’ Different segments were made at different factories and assembled in a different factory.

Other safety systems are also very rigid. Thorough counting and checking is done of each bullet, each casing even 100 gms of RDX kind explosive material.

” Will private industries be amenable to such strict audits or answerable if material made by them got in the wrong hands?”

IT’S BEGINNING TO HAPPEN ALREADY.

You, Me and Climate Change; IPCC AR6 warns Code Red for Humanity

Climate Change seems normal in newspaper headlines like a chapter in our EVS book but more devastating in reality. The speed and spread of destruction in recent years have sound alarm by the climate scientist.

Wildfire in the Amazon rainforest grips a large area of South America in early January 2019. Past month forests of Greece, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Lebanon are burning one by one. The California state of America is facing the most dangerous wildfire in its history for the second year in a row. Flash flood in Europe. Ones in a 1000 year downpour flood in China or the drought in Iran. All these events are unexpected, no one had predicted such disasters.

The United Nations has a panel on the environment, the Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Early this week, it has presented its detailed report titled, ‘Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis’, related to the threat of climate change, its impacts and future risks, and options for adaptation and mitigation. After two weeks of brainstorming, 195 countries had approved the report. Most of the world’s nations are unanimous on what has been said in this report. It is estimated that scientists analyzed almost 14,000 climate change research papers worldwide.

The report says world is likely to breach its goal of the Paris Agreement 2015, limiting global warming to below 1.5C compared to the pre-industrial mark within twenty years (2040) in a best-case scenario. The instant, rapid, and drastic reduction in greenhouse gases can only prevent extreme weather and widespread devastation. Every tonne of greenhouse release in the atmosphere is likely to compound the accelerating effects of heating.

Human intervention is the primary driver of induced heat waves, famines, droughts, cyclones, reduce oxygen levels, and heavy rains have become more intense and frequent since the 1950s. Drought has increased by more than 90%. Major hurricanes and typhoons have increased more than 66 percent since the 1970s. Globally averaged precipitation has increased since 1950s over land.

The climate system has caused global sea levels to rise through ice melting from glaciers and ice sheets on land and thermal expansion from the ocean. By 2100 under very high greenhouse emission, sea level may rise about 1 m and at low emission, it may rise about 0.35 m by 2050 and 0.5 m by 2100, compared to 1900 level. The report said that India’s 7517 km coastline would face significant threats from rising sea levels. Around 28.6 million people of port cities – Mumbai, Surat, Chennai, Kolkata, Kochi and Vishakapatnam will be exposed to coastal flooding if sea levels rise 50 meters.

Arctic sea ice area had reached its lowest level since at least 1850, in last one decade. Arctic is likely to be partially sea ice free in September at least once before 2050. Ocean and land carbon sinks are projected to be less effective with increasing C02 emission and slowly it will accumulate in the atmosphere.

Experts say that there is still some hope left, which would be possible with a shared effort. If carbon emissions are reduced by half by 2030 and to NetZero by 2050, the temperature can be prevented from becoming uncontrolled. We have new and safe energy options available. Now all the responsibility of all these to get the desired result is on the governments’ will.

The leaders of 196 countries are gathering in Glasgow, Scotland in November 2021 to discuss whether enough has been achieved since 2015’s landmark Paris climate agreement. There are enormous expectation rests on this conference. It is being said that the future of Planet Earth is largely depends on this conference. It should be expected that our public representatives will unite to save human civilization by forgetting mutual enmity.

The Best Brand Campaigns of November 2021.

$

It’s November 2021! The month is ending with a flurry of new brand campaigns. In a world where everything is connected, brands are being hyperactive to stay relevant. Brands today have to be innovative, creative and provide a level of customer experience that goes beyond the competition.

The best brands used digital technology and platforms to be at the forefront of innovation and customer experience.

But which were the best campaigns by brands? Well, we’re glad you asked. Here are some of our favourites from this month.

Chanel’s 2021 Campaign

If you were wondering what Chanel’s 2021 campaign was, we’re here to tell you. This campaign had some of the most notable pieces from their latest fashion show, as well as an extension of their Spring 2021 Collection.

Chanel’s Spring 2021 Collection had strong silhouettes creating modern yet creative looks. The Fall 2021 Collection had distinct patterns, textures, and prints in contrasting colours. It also features an updated version of the iconic black-and-white polo neck shirt.

Being detail-oriented, Chanel’s Fall 2021 Fashion Show was an ode to creative excellence. With luxurious fabrics and accessories that are sure to become classics in the years to come.

The collection comprises both classic pieces and new innovations. The campaign includes not only clothes but also shoes, jewellery, luggage, belts, bags, hats, gloves, sunglasses—you name it! All these items are available at your nearest Chanel boutique or online chat-based

Amazon Prime

Brands want to be present where the consumers are instead of relying on digital ads for marketing. Bobble AI’s partnership with Amazon Prime is just one example of this new trend.

Amazon Prime had teamed up with Bobble AI to create an interactive sticker marketing campaign. To boost awareness and recall for the new movie Cinderella on Amazon Prime among youth & adults. They carried out the campaign by leveraging visual stickers, GIFs and emojis in WhatsApp and other chat messaging apps. The brand creatively used a chat-based sticker campaign to insert the brand into the conversation.

The team at Bobble AI created a chat sticker pack for Cinderella. The sticker pack had 10+ relatable stickers for fun conversation. Stickers were perfect. They had also created 20+ standalone standees that can be used in different scenarios, such as reacting to a funny meme you saw on social media!

Nike’s 2021 Campaign

Nike has been one of the most popular and successful brands for years. With the help of digital marketing, they’ve been able to reach a larger audience and capture their attention. This is clear in their recent campaign that was released in November 2021.

Their campaign is called: “Nike: When Tomorrow Needs You.” Nike’s goal with this campaign was to encourage people to take action and make a difference in their lives now.

Throughout the month, Nike shared images and videos on social media to spread awareness. One video included inspirational words from different athletes, such as LeBron James, Serena Williams, Simone Biles, and many more. The video encouraged people to not only work hard every day but also to push themselves to be better by working together.

Uber’s 2021 Campaign

Uber has been on the market for a while. But unlike some other companies, Uber has kept up with technology and is always coming out with new ways to improve its service.

Earlier this year, Uber launched their latest campaign called “Campaign 2021.” It’s an ambitious plan that includes new services like self-driving vehicles, new offers for riders, and more.

One of the coolest things about this campaign is that Uber partnered with the NFL to offer concerts. Not only did they sponsor one game of the season, but they also partnered with NBC to broadcast the game live on TV. Now frequent users of ride-sharing services won’t have to worry about having worked the next day if they go out partying on game day!

Coca-Cola’s 2021 Campaign

Coca-Cola ran a campaign in November 2021 that was so good, it made us think about the possibilities of other marketing campaigns. The campaign was called “Share A Coke” and encouraged people to share selfies with their friends who are drinking Coca-Cola.

The campaign reminds us that brands aren’t just selling products, they’re selling experiences. Coca-Cola wants people to share these moments with their friends and family members. They even encourage you to post your pictures on social media using the hashtag #ShareACoke.

The Share A Coke campaign is an outstanding campaign. The emotional connection that Coca-cola created for people sharing a Coke was amazing. It shows how brands are marketing themselves differently in today’s digital age.

Emotional Advertising

The work we’ve seen from last month has been quite emotional.  Brands are using the end of the year as a time to get sentimental and think about all the great things they’ve done.

One recent example of this is PepsiCo’s ad featuring their marketing head, Indra Nooyi. They created the video for this very purpose: to talk about PepsiCo’s outstanding year and thank Indra for everything she’s done for them.

Advertising campaigns like these make us tear up while telling us why we love Coca-Cola, Nike, and more. They’re showing us how awesome the company is while getting us excited about what could be next!

Direct Marketing to Millennials

If you’re looking for a way to reach more millennials, then you should try direct marketing.

Direct marketing is a great way to target millennials and get your message out to them without the use of social media or paid ads. Recent research shows that millennials will more likely respond to an advertisement they read/see than the one they find on social media. So, we recommend using direct marketing as a tool for any company trying to reach out to this demographic.

Product Tying and Sales Strategies for Marketing

Almost every business has a product tying strategy. Whether it’s as simple as bundling your products together or making them available for a limited time only, the idea is to get people to buy more than one item from you at once.

Brands like Chanel and Nike have been doing this for years. They bundle their products together in different packages, ranging from a few items up to a full wardrobe. And sometimes they make those bundled packages unavailable for purchase after a certain period online. For example, Uber might offer discounts on rides if you buy food with delivery service DoorDash. or Coca-Cola might offer its drinks in two-packs at Costco stores. These are just some examples of how product tying strategies work for various brands—strategies that can be used by your company too!

Two years on, CID still nescient over firing at Nagpur’s ex-Mayor Joshi

Nagpur: It’s been around two-years since the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was assigned to probe into gun firing on then Nagpur Mayor Sandip Joshi which occurred back in December 2019. The agency is still in the dark regarding the identity of the gunmen.

It is pertinent to mention that, Joshi was attacked by unidentified gunmen between the intervening night of December 17 and 18, 2019, while returning home from a party. Joshi, who was driving the car, and his friend Aaditya Thakur, fortunately, escaped unhurt.

The miscreants reportedly fired three bullets at Joshi’s car while he was returning from his marriage anniversary party from a dhaba on the city’s outskirts. Notably, the attempt on Joshi’s life came after he received two threat letters warning him not to go ahead with his anti-encroachment drive initiated that year. Earlier, the case was investigated by Nagpur Crime Branch. Later, in July 2020, the matter was transferred to CID.

Interestingly, during the two-year-long investigation of the case, the CID has changed two Investigation Officers (IOs).

Speaking to Nagpur Today, CID Deputy Superintendent (Dy SP) Surendra Dumade, who took over as IO two-months back, informed that, “I’ve been going through case files and monitoring probe minutely. The accused men have not been identified as yet. However, CID’s probe is on and the culprits will be placed under arrest soon,” he said.

Commenting on the progress of the case, ex-Nagpur Mayor Sandip Joshi said that he didn’t opt for the CID probe but it was Anil Deshmukh, then Home Minister, who assigned the agency with the probe.

“CID had called me twice to record my statements. I’m pleased with the progress the agency has made so far. I’ve always had faith in Nagpur Police. Hence, I never sought a CID probe. It was the then Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh who had assigned CID to investigate the matter. I just want the culprits to get arrested at the earliest,” he said.

China urges US companies to accept the digital Yuan!

China decided to launch its digital token back in 2014. Since then only, it has been working on banning the bitcoin cryptocurrency altogether. However, cryptocurrency mining operations were started within China’s borders, and bitcoin was the dominant digital token. The primary reason because of the Chinese government is not supporting the bitcoin ecosystem is that it consumes a lot of energy, as per this trading site. Due to the high consumption of electricity, it is a lot of carbon in the ecosystem; therefore, it is not the best option for environmental conservation. Moreover, it is becoming a hindrance in the path of China achieving the target of zero carbon emissions by 2025.

However, it is not the only reason the Chinese government is banning digital tokens like bitcoin. The primary reason because of why the Chinese government is doing the same is that it wants to launch its digital currency. Due to the influence of bitcoin, the Chinese government has always looked upon to become a global power. It wants to take control of the digital ecosystem, so it has now decided to launch its not sown central bank digital currency. The central bank digital currency of the Chinese government is going to be the digital Yuan; China wants to make sure that it can flourish worldwide. In doing so, it has urged some American companies to accept the digital Yuan as payment so that the ecosystem of this new digital currency of China can flourish.

American companies were urged!

There is not only one but multiple American companies facilitating transactions everywhere in the world. The primary reason they are the target of the Chinese government is that they are providing services everywhere in the world, and therefore, they can be the best place to make sure that the digital Yuan can flourish.

One of the most important fast food chain giants, McDonald’s, is getting requests from the Chinese government to accept payments in the form of digital Yuan. Even more, they want the fast food chain to accept the payments before the Olympics in 2022 in Beijing. So, it reflects the pressure imposed by the Chinese government on the giant American companies providing their services everywhere in the world, including China.

The digital yuan pilot scheme was also launched in collaboration with 270 McDonald’s restaurants. Nowadays, they started accepting payments in digital Yuan, but even more, they want the other openings to accept this payment. These fast food giants are urged to accept payment in the form of digital Yuan because the Chinese government wants to make sure that it has flourished everywhere in the world.

Apart from this, China is making sure that before the 2022 Beijing Olympics, every American company working in China accept this payment. Moreover, it is what the Chinese government has done every time. It wants to make sure that if any other company wants to make sure their business runs in China, they have to say and accept what the government tells them.

Aim of china

Whenever there is an action by the Chinese government, there is an aim behind the same. Moreover, the primary reason the Chinese government is doing so is to ensure that the digital ecosystem of the digital Yuan can expand. If the fast food giants like McDonald’s accept the payments in China, they will also accept the same payment within every nation of the world. Therefore, such fast food chains will be the path through which the Chinese digital Yuan will flourish. Moreover, it will make China’s dream come true of becoming a global power in the digital finance ecosystem.

Another significant reason China is pushing American companies to accept digital payments using the digital Yuan is because it wants to speed up the spread of digital tokens. Moreover, it has been testing the digital yuan ecosystem yet, but still, it was the companies to accept the digital Yuan to ensure that people can use it everywhere.

When more and more people are going to use it, they are going to see that it processes faster transactions and is considered to be safer. However, even though partial anonymity is offered to the people, they will still use the digital Yuan because the government wants them to do so. Also, the monetary authority will be in the hands of the Chinese government when every company uses this payment medium.

IF A MOTHER IS SAVED, THEN THE COMPLETE FAMILY IS SAVED!!!

Left to Right : Dr Ajay Patekar (Anaesthesiologist), Dr. Mohammad Zuber (Interventional Radiologist), Dr Vishal Ramteke (Nephrologist & Renal Transplant Physician), Dr Sakshi Bansal (Obstetrician & Gynaecologist), Dr Sanjay Kriplani (Intensivist), Dr. Nitin Wadaskar (Consultant Physician), Dr. Mohammad Yunus (General and Laparoscopic Surgeon) along with patient, her husband and new born sitting in the centre.

Nagpur: In an emergency a29-year-old female patient came to Alexis Hospital with septic shock and disseminated intravascular coagulopathy, a rare and serious condition that disrupts blood flow. It is a blood clotting disorder that can turn into uncontrollable bleeding. She underwent a caesarean delivery at some other private hospital four days prior to admitting at Alexis Hospital. She was admitted with high grade fever, low blood pressure (shock) with respiratory distress and also had convulsed one time just before arriving at Alexis. , Dr Nitin Wadaskar, (Consultant Physician), admitted her in ICU where she was immediately intubated and was on life support system. Team of doctors Dr Sanjay Kriplani (Intensivist) along with his team and Dr Sakshi Bansal (Gynaecologist) closely managed the case. CT abdomen of the patient revealed gross Hemoperitoneum, also called as intra-abdominal hemorrhage or intraperitoneal hemorrhage, which is a type of internal bleeding in which blood gathers in your peritoneal cavity. She was already on life supporting drugs and devices. Additionally, she also required multiple blood products to control her internal bleeding to maintain her blood pressure. Risks increased as she had an acute kidney shutdown, for which she was on continuous renal support under care of Dr Nishant Deshpande (Nephrologist & Renal Transplant Physician) along with Dr Vishal Ramteke (Nephrologist) at Alexis Hospital.

After 3 days of vigorous treatment and critical care team hard work when her blood pressure became normal, Dr. Mohammad Zuber (Interventional Radiologist) decided to do CT guided embolization of the bleeding vessels to stop her bleeding. Following which Dr. Mohammad Yunus (General and Laparoscopic Surgeon) and Dr Sakshi Bansal (Gynaecologist) removed 325 gms of clots via laparotomy and 2.3 litres blood inside her abdomen. Post laparotomy her blood pressure; heart rate and respiration were stable. Her kidneys also started improving. She was discharged in a marvellous state after 23 days of her admission.

Dr. Nitin Wadaskar (Consultant Physician) stated that she was in a critical stage with Septic shock, coagulation abnormality and on ventilator support. Proper time bound management and team work helps in survival of the patient. Proper cooperation and relatives belief was also contributing factor for patient aliveness.

Dr Sakshi Bansal (Gynaecologist) shares, “Although she was in shock and was one of the most difficult cases to manage, we at Alexis hospital were able to save her only because of our multidisciplinary approach and support from the peer members. As it is said if a mother is saved, then the complete family is saved. She was a mother of two children and she was a case of near missed maternal mortality.”

The patient was given a total of 34 units of blood products including 8 Cryoprecipitate, 8 Fresh frozen plasma, 13 packed red blood cells along with 3 Single donor platelets and 2 Random donor platelets.

Dr Tushar Gawad, Director Administration at Alexis Hospital shares, “Managing high end lifesaving complex cases like these and getting a good outcome is what every institute aspires to achieve! We at Alexis always strive to continue to manage complex cases requiring quaternary care along with a multidisciplinary team of experts and infrastructure under one roof. This is the best example of choosing the right and well equipped multispecialty hospital in an emergency.”

Maha Govt strongly protests K’taka Minister’s statement that Mumbai be declared Union Territory

File Pic

Nagpur: Maharashtra Government on Wednesday strongly protested the statements by Karnataka Law Minister that Mumbai be declared as Union Territory. The Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that this issue will be conveyed to the Union Home Minister.

“मुंबई महाराष्ट्राचीच, ती कुणाच्या बापाची नाही” thundered Fadnavis while hitting back Karnataka Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister J C Madhuswamy for his statement that Mumbai qualifies to be a Union Territory considering the cosmopolitan population and contributions of people of other states.

Madhuswamy had said, “Around 20 per cent Kannada and Konkani speaking people reside in Mumbai. Mumbai was never a part of Maharashtra before its formation. Such being the case, Mumbai, not Belagavi, qualifies to become a Union Territory.”

Fadnavis said, “Karnataka Minister’s statement claiming Mumbai is wrong. We condemn it. It is a violation of what they agreed to before the Home Minister. It is not good for the bilateral relations between the two states. These things will also be brought to the notice of the Union Home Minister. Requests will be made to the Union Home Minister to take to task such irresponsible Karnataka Ministers,” the Deputy CM said.

Leader of Opposition Ajit Pawar said the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister should strongly protest against Karnataka Government’s statements. Karnataka’s Laxman Savadi has rubbed salt in the wounds of Marathi speakers by saying that Mumbai is a part of Karnataka.

With spurt in mishaps, preventive steps is a buzzword on Samruddhi Mahamarg

Nagpur: In the wake of spurt in accidents on the recently commissioned Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg, some fellow commuters have urged the travellers to be cautious and take measures to prevent mishaps and other contingencies. Following are the important points:

Before starting the journey on the Samruddhi Highway, keep the following points in mind.

1) Take plenty of water and some food with you before travelling.

2) Do not travel at high speed, preferably within a hundred.

3) Before travelling, first of all check the tyres of your car, if possible, fill the tyres with nitrogen air.

4) Before starting the journey, check the petrol and all types of oil in the vehicle properly.

5) Even if the car is equipped with cruise control, your focus should be on the road ahead.

6) Samruddhi Mahamarg has not been completed yet, so we have to keep all kinds of amenities. Petrol pump is 200 kms on this Expressway. There is no shop at present.

7) Drive according to the condition of the tyres of your own vehicles and drive at that speed otherwise the tyres may burst and cause an accident due to the cement road.

8) Stop the car for 20 minutes preferably every two or three hours so that the tyre and engine temperature can cool down a bit.

Your car tyres are not suitable for cement roads. So these tyres burst immediately if the speed is high. So even if it is the Expressway, don’t increase the speed too much. Maximum 120 km/hr.

Life is precious.

Subhedar Narveer Tanaji Malusare: Darshan of place of bravery!!

Nagpur: On the occasion of the 353rd death anniversary of Subhedar Narveer Tanaji Malusare  to be celebrated at Sinhagad on February 4, 2023 in the presence of dignitaries on behalf of the entire Malusare family of Maharashtra, Ravindra Malusare,  President of Marathi Vruttapatra Lekhak Sangh, Mumbai, has written an article showcasing the history of Narveer Tanaji Malusare.

Ravindra Malusare writes…

Our history during Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj period is bright. We inherit the blood, self-respect, bravery, loyalty and wisdom of our ancestors. Needless to say, if we continue to forget their history, our future will look bleaker than the present.

The story of Narvyaghra Narveer Tanaji Malusare, who became the Subhedar of Shiv Chhatrapati, has been given the glory of “Shivarayancha Sinh Padla Samrangani Maratha Gadi Yasha Dhani” in the pages of history. Narveer Tanaji listened to the call of Swarajya rather than the duty of his own family rather than sentiments and in fact national work and in doing this he sacrificed his life for Swamikarya by shedding his own blood.

It is a duty to have a relook at the great work of two such mighty brothers Narveer Tanaji-Suryaji Malusare on Shauryadini. Many things are coming forward about the history of Shiva period. As new historical documents and tools become available, older references are becoming outdated. There are debates. Keeping in mind the modern technology and the changed education system, it is necessary to continue to transmit the history preserved by the forefathers to the next generation.

It is recorded in the history that ‘Adihi Lagin Kondanyache Maga Majhya Raibache’ or ‘Gad Ala Pan Maja Sinh Gela’ is not the history of Narvirs but the first Powada of the Shiva period composed by Shahir Tulsidas which tells the story of the brilliant and unique bravery of Tanajiva and many other such events are still available in history.

Tanaji belonged to the Kshatrakulotpanna ‘Malla’ dynastic clan. During the Emergency in the eleventh century, a branch of the ‘Malla’ dynasty took refuge in the Javali region of Konkan. ‘Naik’ in that branch must have been the title of Tanaji. After the battle of Pratapgad, after reaching the fort of Rajgad, Shivaraya captured and pacified Tanaji and made Hazari Mansabdar of the infantry. But a thousand foot soldiers under him were not of the same rank like Jedhe, Badal, nor from the same region.

A mixed infantry of 1000 Hashmas was also provided along with the army during the campaign. Tanaji Malusare was never appointed to any Watani Subha in Swarajya. In the Swaraj of King Shivaji, there was no practice of actual giving of land. Before him, the post of ‘Subhedar’ was given. The word Subhedar means an officer in the army. Subha means province. But Tanajirao was not a provincial officer.

After the death of Tanaji Malusare in Jedhe Shakavali, it is recorded that Tanhaji Malusare became the Subhedar of the Hashams of Rajashri. Because it is mentioned in the small book of Marathi Empire that Tanaji had no homeland in the Mourya region of Javali. So he was in permanent salaried employment in Shiva Raya’s army. That’s why he had his house on Suvela. The ancestors of Tanajirao Malusare came to Daulatabad and later to Ahmednagar and Wai as warriors who originally lived on the forest edge of Satpura on the slopes of Tapi river.

Finally they came and stayed at Godoli near Panchgani. Tanaji Malusare’s father Kaloji and his brother Bhovarji or Bhorji were residents of Godoli. Foreigners always came riding on this Godoli. So Kaloji and Bhorji took Shivaji Maharaj’s side. And during the ride of Fattekhana, both the brothers took a pledge to perform its rituals in the villages of Akoshi and Nalvadi near Wai. In a meeting held near a lake called Shingan of Asgaon, both these brothers took up their vows. The Subhedar of Wai got this news. He decided to take over the two brothers by making a surprise attack on Godoli. And suddenly one night the Subhedar of Bijapurkar came to that village.

He suddenly attacked that village and slaughtered the brave villagers of Godoli including Kaloji, Bhorji and and destroyed the entire village. Tanaji’s mother took her two sons and took the road to Brahmaran. Bhorji’s sons went to his maternal uncle in the village of Furas in the Koyna Valley. His mother came from Karanje village under Pratapgad to Umrath with her twelve and ten year old children Tanaji and Suryaji.

Tanaji’s mother had a ‘Ghal’ in the mountains near Umrath village, in which they spent three days eating stale bread. This north-facing Ghal, which can easily accommodate 10-15 people, is still on the hill slopes adjacent to Umrath. When the villagers came to know that a woman was living with her children in this place, they brought them to the village. By then her brother Shelar had reached Umrath in search of them. After Shelarama told the villagers about her sufferings, she built a hut and also gave a few acres of land to grow ragi  and vari. In that Umrath village, Tanaji-Suryaji became famous not only in the village but also in Sakhar Khore, Kamthe Khore, Kineshwar Khore, Golegani Khore, and Shivthar Khore in eight to ten years.

The two brothers became brave as they wielded sword, spear, and bow. Tanaji handled the dandapatta so neatly that the people who practiced the dandapatta stared at him for a long time. He was also skilled in disguise. Sometimes he sat in a royal dress with his thick black moustache. Sometimes he would look like a nobleman. Both brothers became famous in Mahad province by farming and learning battle tactics.

Mal Patil of Birwadi was considered a formidable person in the Adilshahi of Bijapur. Although this region falls under the kingdom of Chandrarao More of Javali, all the forts in that region were under the direct control of Adilshah. The authorities used to collect the amount of agricultural produce in kind and in cash. These fortmen used to administer as they pleased. Although Mal Patil complained about this many times, the hawalodar of the fort was a Muslim and he used to do injustice to the unarmed subjects in many ways. Syed Kabir was the army chief and Havaldar Rahitamat Khan was the cruel officer. A great crisis befell the village where this infantry army went from Raigad.  Tanaji raised a huge army of new youths. As soon as the call was made, armed youths would rush in and take care of them.

At the time of Afzul Khan’s ride, Tanaji’s Mawle were ready with arms at Karanje-Devale and Golegani-Paithan Valley. Tanaji was seated at Pratapgad in such a position that he could see all kinds of visitors. After Khan’s abdomen came out and he collapsed, Syed Banda ran like a dart to the meeting place and Tanaji also ran. Sambhaji Kavji Kondhalkar, Jeeva Mahala and Tanaji crushed him.

Tanaji Malusare united the youth in this valley below the Jawli valley, on January 15, 1656, Javali fell. That made Shiva Raya’s task easy, Javali was completely taken over and the old fortress of Gudhya hill was transformed into Pratapgarh.

Tanaji’s son Raiba (Rayaji) was with Sambhaji Maharaj. He was always in the army with Santaji Ghorpade’s grandfather Mhalsoji. After Tanaji’s death, Suryaji along with his army came to Umrath from the villages of Velhachi Peth, Dhoni Pani, Birwadi, Bhave and stayed there. Suryaji had three sons. Kanhoji stayed at Umrath. Bhorji Kadoshi went to live in a village beyond Mahabaleshwar.

So Naikji started living at Sakhar at the foothills of Umrath. Tanaji’s cousin, Bhorji, hails from Furus, a village on the banks of Koyna. Similarly, the descendants of Malusare still live in the villages of Sakhar, Godoli, Dhakti Vaki, Gavadi, Kimwe, Ambeshivathar, Kasbe Shivthar, Godvali, Parmachi, Furus.

The south facing Amriteshwar temple is located on the lower part of the temple of Kondhaneshwar at Sinhagad. There are two idols of Bhairava and Bhairavi and Bhairava holds weapons in four hands. A dog is carved nearby. Yatras and big festivals used to take place here. At that time it used to cost around two hundred rupees. In the year 1763, Bhausaheb Peshwa’s wife Parvatibai gave a gold crown to Amriteshwar.

A new idol was installed in the year 1777. In the centre of this temple is Tanaji Malusare’s Samadhi which was earlier a square peaked Vrindavan. A half statue of Tanaji and the mausoleum were renovated on it in the year 1940. The place of Tanaji’s old Tulsi Vrindavan is the place where Tanaji’s body fell, the place of heroic death.

In the year 1935, a Utsav Mandal was also established in Pune. And it still is today. The mausoleum now built by this board is in the form of a semi-statue with a meghdambari and a surrounding rock. The state has got a new historical gift in the form of Narveer Tanaji Malusare’s tomb at Sinhagad. It has been released on behalf of Pune Municipal Corporation.

After the approval of the Department of Archaeology, while cleaning and excavating, this Samadhi came into the hands of the attendees. Shiva lovers have recently expressed happiness after finding this tomb. In fact, this history has already been mentioned in the book on Narveer Tanaji Malusare published 50 years ago by Pen historian Parshuram Date.

Today at Umrath in Poladpur taluka there is a 6 feet tall statue of Tanaji Malusare and Shelarama and a samadhi in the holy place of battle. There is a mausoleum of Suryaji Malusare at Sakhar nearby. From generation to generation, the Malusare congregation of Sakhar has been going to Umrath on Magh Vadya Navami and celebrating Shaurya Din by bowing till today.

This is where Subedar Tanajirao’s biography ended…. But taking inspiration from it, many such fighters were born in our India in the last 350 years. Subhedar Tanajirao’s biography is so powerful that Swatantraveer Savarkar wrote a Powada on Tanaji’s life to arouse the people when the country was being ruled by British. As soon as it was realized that this country would rise up in flames to get rid of slavery from this Powada, the British government banned it….. No matter how much Tanajirao’s biography is sung, it is little. And even if a little of it is retained, it is a lot.

Mood Of The Nation Poll: What Modi-Shah Must Worry About

$
0
0

Opinion polls have the wonderful knack of going wrong, but that is mostly during election time. It is true not only in India but also in the West, where it all evolved over elections and decades.

Yet, periodic ‘mood-of-the-voter’ surveys are less toxic, and serve as pointers and guidelines for political parties, leaders and even governments to apply correctives, if they believed in such ‘scientific methods’ of mood-capturing and want to avoid political pot-holes, especially in the long run-up to the elections.

According to the latest of half-yearly, India Today-C-Voter national survey, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains the favourite for the job in next year’s parliamentary polls, with a 52 per cent acceptance/preference.

A higher total of 72 per cent of the voters said they were satisfied with Modi’s performance as PM. Others considered for the job included Home Minister and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s chief strategist Amit Shah (26 per cent), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (25 per cent) and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, considered an RSS favourite, (16 per cent).

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who was still in the midst of his Bharat Jodo Yatra, which did create a buzz and projected a positive image against the Sangh Parivar’s over-trumpeted ‘Pappu’ image and imagery, registered a 14 per cent acceptance.

Incidentally, the survey showed UP’s Adityanath as the nation’s best chief minister, a message as much for his party as to those in the political Opposition or, so it seems.

It does not stop there. In the survey, the ruling BJP is projected to win 284 seats, with allies adding another 14, or a total of 298, with a total NDA vote-share of 43 per cent, up from 41 per cent in August 2022.

In the previous 2019 Lok Sabha election, the combine had won a high 353 seats with the BJP alone bagging 303, up from the 282 in 2014, when Modi became prime minister.

Against this, the Congress-led UPA is expected to come a distant second with 153 seats, up from the two-digit figure of 91 (including Congress 52, up from 44 in 2014), with a two-per cent rise in vote-share from 28 to 30 per cent.

That leaves 121 seats out in the open, but most of them could be construed as anti-BJP (though not mentioned as such in the survey report).

The survey noted that the Modi government’s approval ratings too had gone up from 56 per cent in August 2022 to 67 per cent in January 2023. The study indicated that the percentage of individuals dissatisfied with the government had reduced from 32 in August to 18 now.

Notwithstanding what is in store a year from now, this should be a cause for current concern for the BJP. Though there is a marginal, two-seat increase in the party’s tally between the 2019 elections and the current survey, the overall impact of the loss of allies like the Janata Dal-United in Bihar and the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra seem to be showing more than earlier.

How it could reflect on the final figure remains to be seen, though it could go either way, as the results of 2019 showed.

But it is the survey figures on specific issues that could be an eye-opener, for knowing who between Modi and his BJP’s ideological RSS/Hindutva parent is possibly on the top just now. That should explain the perception that ‘Nagpur has lost the hold over Delhi’, often murmured in BJP-RSS circles.

Translated, it could mean that for want of an alternative, the conventional Hindutva brigade has little choice but to back and campaign for the continuance of Modi’s leadership of the nation, as they could not afford to take chances.

In policy terms, it implies there is more to electoral politics than ideology — and why Modi ends up adopting a give-and-take policy in the political arena.

Unlike his equally strong predecessors, including the BJP’s own Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he takes more and gets less, in terms of political accommodation and electoral compromises.

According to the survey, ideological issues like Article 370 and Ayodhya received only 14 and 12 per cent voter-backing, respectively. It could well imply that hardline Hindutva issues have only that much voter-purchase, compared to Modi’s overall popularity of 52 per cent — putting the man way above the mission.

That the hardline votes for the BJP compares well with Rahul Gandhi’s 14-per cent acceptance (again the hardliners from the other side of the spectrum, as it would seem). This only means that there are only so many ‘committed voters’ on either side of the ideological-divide, leaving the vast majority out of it, who may still want to be convinced more than at present.

This is where the BJP-NDA may have a problem on its hands, to be addressed effectively between now and the Lok Sabha polls, again going by the survey.

Accordingly, 25 per cent of those surveyed thought that ‘price rise’ was the ‘biggest failure’ of the Modi government, followed by unemployment (17 per cent).

Even the government’s handling of the Covid pandemic had only a 20 per cent approval rating, implying that personal experiences and/or critics’ campaigns seem to have had an impact.

This is the segment that the Opposition, split as they are, will be hoping and working to retain and build on.

Then, there are the untapped/untargeted sections, who seem to be included in the 72 per cent that is ‘satisfied’ with Modi’s leadership. They would cover the 37 per cent that felt Rahul’s Yatra had ‘created buzz’ but would not help to win elections.

It may be here that figures speak louder as ever. According to the survey, around 29 per cent agreed that the Yatra was a ‘great exercise’ at mass-connect, and the figure comes close to the Congress tally of 30 per cent.

Around 13 per cent of those surveyed described the Yatra as a ‘rebranding exercise for Rahul Gandhi’, and the figure comes close to the vote-share for other hard-line issues like 370 and Ayodhya.

Thus, there may be a substantial non-committed section that had seemingly voted for the Modi enigma twice in the last nine years, do not have much complaints about his leadership, yet seem to be restless for possible change — only if the other side(s) convince them that they could offer more, as much in deed as in words, going beyond slogans and branding like ‘India Shining!’ (BJP) and ‘Aam Aadmi’ (Congress), both 2004, and also ‘Aachhe Din’ (BJP, 2014).

It is here that the Opposition would have to do more than the BJP, whose limitations become more pronounced as they have done enough and more through nine years in office, leaving limited scope for fresh policies and programmes, the latter more than the former.

This is because having settled down well with the Modi leadership, the voter will become increasingly inward-looking, having got used to all that have come his way in the past close to a decade — and looking for more, and possibly of a different kind.

In a way, both the ruling party and the Opposition need to interpret the survey reporting that 68 per cent favoured a uniform civil code. The figure again comes closer to the preferential votes for the Congress, at 30 per cent — but does not at all correspond to the hard-line Hindutva numbers in favour of Ayodhya and Article 370 abrogation.

It also raises question for the BJP strategists, if an Ayodhya temple in the run-up to the elections would help the party or not. It applies also to issues such as the CAA.

Against this, the Opposition, after a 10-year break from power at the Centre, can and need to start off on a new slate. They would now have to stop their Modi and BJP-bashing, acknowledging that their negative campaigns of the kind, too, have peaked out like that of the BJP against ‘pseudo-secularism’, corruption, Nehruvian ideology and the Nehru-Gandhi family.

The Opposition will instead have to come up with specific policies and programmes to undo all the wrongs that they have been attributing to the BJP-NDA government, the guiding RSS ideology and the Modi leadership, and not necessarily in that order.

They will still have to do more, and come up with new initiatives and promises that would gel with the social media generation, which could check facts and figures at the swipe of their mobile screens than was possible even a decade or so back.

The survey may not influence voting in the multiple assembly polls across the country in the run-up to the Lok Sabha polls. In states like BJP-ruled Karnataka, where assembly polls are due in the next couple of months, where the Opposition Congress is said to be on the upswing, the survey could be a pointer for rival party strategists to work on.

Of course, they would have their own teams, undertaking such field research apart from guiding the respective party leaderships, on the day-by-day, if not minute-by-minute campaign strategies, also campaign slogans and ‘feed’ friendly media circles, some of which are hooked on to their ways, hook, line and sinker.
